This is an alphabetical list of the Long Distance Paths within the UK, spread over a number of pages. There are nearly 900 listed here so far and this list is intended to grow over time and hopefully we will be able to add more columns or information. In the case of our listing, Long Distance Paths we have taken to mean those walks and paths that have a minimum distance of 20 miles. The list does include the National Trails as well as coastal walks, rural, mountainous, over moorlands and both river and canal waterway paths. You do need to know a path by name rather than by area, but at some point we may be able to create a geographic list for you, but with long paths they tend to go through many counties. Where the names in the first column is hyperlinked this links to a Location page with more information on this site and over time more of these will be added, we will be delighted if some of you would like to also produce location pages.
This list will continue to grow as we come across new places. REMEMBER if know of somewhere that you feel is a good place please let us know.
