Doorways

A doorway is a direct entry point into our system, for those with specific interest or for websites that wish to link to a specific section within this site. A Doorway page has basic information about what Photographers Resource is, a few images and possibly other information relevant to the topic and then links to a section or a frame set calling an individual page. The links below can be taken off of this page and used on your website or emails.

We will be adding many more.

Introducing Sections and Portals

The sections are specific featured content, often where we have a lot of information already or where we intend to have. Sections can also be indexed or linked directly to by others, as if they were a separate website.

Section pages allow us to link together content that is relevant to these. Within our other indexes and pages they are identified by a symbol. More sections will be added over time often when we have special feature weeks on the subject.

You will also find topic pages within the topic section that serve a similar purpose, but are not freestanding like a section.

Portals are separate websites or sub webs  that form a part of the same family, these can also be accessed as completely free standing websites as well as within the overall system.

Not all of our content is defined within this Section and Portal index, please use the topic, alpha or other indexes to get to other content.

Help symbols

On many of our pages we have used symbols, the first one shows the type of a page, the next one or group what is at the location and in some cases there are others at the end showing ownership, if entry is free or at a cost and restrictions.

You can see the symbol description by placing your mouse pointer over it. Clicking on any symbol displays a full key page in a new window. Symbols in use are below.
